Dear friends and colleagues,

It is my immense pleasure to welcome you to Hotel Effie Sandestin for GOA's 118th Annual Summer Conference.

Your attendance at Summer Conference supports the continuous efforts of organized optometry in Georgia to preserve, promote and advance our great profession. It is exciting to see the enthusiasm return for in person CE after being cocooned in pandemic isolation and endless Zoom meetings. It is my hope that you take full advantage of this opportunity to earn CE credits and network with other ODs.

It has been my honor to serve as your 2021-22 GOA President. For those of you who I have not had the pleasure of meeting – I am looking forward to greeting you as we gather throughout the weekend. Please say hello!

On behalf of the GOA Board of Trustees, I would like to thank the GOA Double Diamond, Diamond, Gold, and Silver level partners for making this weekend possible. Additionally, I’d like to thank the GOA Education Committee, chaired by Dr. Charlie Ficco, and the GOA staff, Bryan Markowitz, Vanessa Grosso, and Garrett Davis for their hard work and dedication.
